Let me introduced to you one of my favorite food is Fiddlehead Fern Salad or also known as Pako Salad in Mila's Restaurant here in Angeles City, Pampanga.  This vegetable which has scientific name of athyrium esculentum is usually eaten as a salad like Filipino fruit salad or a side dish to a main viand. One of the famous food. Pako is very well known to be healthy, as a vegetable, Pako leaves is rich in fiber which is entirely diet for people who losing weight have a heart problems and even those with diabetes.  I am going to share with you the ingredients of  Pako salad, first is the pako leaves, tomatoes, red onion, salted egg and the dressing is 2 teaspoon vinegar,1/4 teaspoon of salt, pepper, sugar.   You can also use other ingredients some pako recipes use lemon juice instead of vinegar, honey instead of sugar, and regular boiled eggs if you want a healthier option and you may also use bagoong as dressing and add ...
